  • ground effects detaching?

I have a 99 y87 with ground effets. Since I bought the car I noticed that the are between where the front fender and ground effects meet, there is a BIG gap. I dont; raly know tha cause of this, but is tehr any way to fix this, possibly bending eeh fender back. I don't think it's the ground effects that are coming off, it looks more to be the fneder that is bent.

Try some double-sided tape from 3M first. If that doesn't work, you may need to drill another screw or two up underneath to hold it flush to the fender.

Are you sure the fender at the bottom is not flaring out from improper jacking? If you look at the bottom of the car you will see what looks like a pinch weld but it's not, it's the bottom of the fender and that is where it attaches to the car. It will say DO NOT JACK on it. But most people will not see that and jack it up anyways, causing the bottom of the fender to flare out and messing with the alignment of the ground effects too. Even if they hammer it back it might still be misaligned.
