ok..i got the P&P upper intake painted red..did 5 coats..it looks AWESOME..cant wait to see it on the car..i'll get some shots of it tomorrow when its fully dry [img]smile.gif[/img]
EDIT -- ok..got some pics of it..it looks great..the pics are a bit dark..basically i just painted the whole thing red and then polished the "3800 Series II"
yeah its gonna look pretty sweet..tomorrow im gonna go get some sand paper to polish the "3800 Series II" and leave the rest red..that'll rock..i think if you just did the intake it would look pretty awesome..thats all i did..the air box is painted red and now the intake [img]smile.gif[/img]

do the valve covers too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
all i have to do it get a oily rag and wipe it off to make it look nice for about 2 weeks lol

thanks man..i just used high temp engine enamel spray paint..i painted the whole thing red..the 3800 and all..after that i used a flat razor to skin the paint off the raised 3800..then i sanded it to polish it up [img]smile.gif[/img]

i would paint it silver cause it only takes a few days for that crap to get back on the AL
