Ok, first I have painted a few things here and there...but I can tell you without re-painting the whole car your going to be able to tell the new paint from the old no matter what you do. But you can try to blend the paint into your finders so it won't be so noticable. Just kinda fan it into the old paint and you shouldn't be able to tell that much. When it's dark outside and your car is under a light you'll be able to see the new paint no matter what. It's very hard to try to blend new with old because of sun fade and all. As far as a color code you shold be able to go to your local dealership and they can print you off a copy of the color code....at least that's what they did for me. Hope this helps you out.

look at where it says bc/cc. DIRECTLY to its right will be a three digit number and a letter.
When you buy your paint tell them thats your GM color code.

I heard that our mystic teal metallic cars are actually coats of blue with coats of green on top.. i'd call a body shop and ask them how they do it.

go to a reputable auto body sho and ask them to scan your paint. they take a scanner and scan your paint and then produce a code to match it directly. this way, the paint will already be 'faded' when you paint it on and you wont have to blend anything.
