I got a new duralast battery at autozone the other day. turns out their tops are now red, and it just wasn't looking good under the hood.
so i grabbed some old sheet aluninum and went to work using some clamps, a few blocks of wood, and a hack saw. i cut it out, folded it into shape, and polished it. after about an hour i had myself a battery cover:
Looks good. It matches all your polished pieces. I ordered my battery cover off rksport I know i paid way too much for it but its carbon fiber so it matches my air box. Again your battery cover looks good and goes with all your polished pieces and you have the pride in knowing that you fabricated it yourself
thanks a lot. and yes, it is nice knowing i did it myself. i need to take care of that red lip on the battery though, i think ill grab some plasticoat next time im at walmart.
i may even try a fusebox cover and even a master cylinder cover
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
