• i really need help choosing wheels

    http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2265676

theres my car in all its "glory"

now, i need new wheels, obviously.

i can not for the life of me decide what i want.

my friend says black zr1s but i cant afford that at the moment. my budget is really at max $500. and im looking to get 17" wheels.

i had really wanted the SS 10 spokes but cant seem to find a good deal on em. got ripped for $300 on ebay over em...anyway

im leaning towards black c5 z06 wheels, from wheelreplicas.com cheapest i could find a set of new wheels from.

i also have a guy thatll sell me silver (painted) zr1s for $415 shipped

i dunno what to do, you guys decide.

so many options is my problem

im pretty set on 17s because of cost and the weight of 18s.

im not sure if i want silver or black or polished, dont think i want chrome.

      man :(

CHROME is the best lol, EASY maintenance versus polished!!! yeah polished looks nice also and isnt too far under chrome BUT high maintenance!!!! i had polished rims on the maro i have chrome zr1's now and very easy maintanence!!! i say chrome z06's, or even zr1's i MIGHT be sellin my zr1's i dunno though!!

don't get cheap. Save money and buy a nice set of rims. You won't regret it.

          17x8.5 and 18x9.5 chrome c6

            That looks great, Shock.

Yeah, you arent going to find much for $500. Does that price include tires btw? I would say save up.

I got TT2's and I love them. Of course that's over doubling your price range not including tires which will run you around $100 a pop for cheap ones.

            Save up.

              the $500 is without tires.
              my budget would be a little bigger but i just got ripped for 300 on ebay over some ss wheels. seller never shipped ;_;

              wheelreplicas has nice prices

i dont think the tt2s are for me, or chrome since my car is quite dull in comparison (for now anyway.)

anyone have 93-97s with some wheels they want to show off?

yo man have you ever thought about the chrome firebird wheels. i don't know what they are called, but i call them chrome 5 stars or firebird abs's. A lot of 98+ firebirds have them. The non chrome ones are okay but the chrome ones look good. You can get usually get them under $500 with used tires. I dont know man its up to you i personally think they look good. I'm actually looking for some right now to replace my salad shooters. Its going to be temporarly tho till i can afford some better looking rims. Here's an idea of what it will look like on a red camaro.. good luck!

Oh, I hadn't seen that you didn't want tt2's...oh well...check mine out though, I think my wheels look good on my car, but it's a 99, not 93-97...But, I like them on my car, at first I was skeptical, but they grew on me.

Get C6's, ZR1's, or those fat 5 spoke Vette Wheels. Those are sweet imo and not many people have them.
