I recently had cracked my dashpad and had to patch and paint it. The closest color I could find was duplicolor charcoal, but it seems a shade or so lighter than the rest of my pieces. Does anyone know of a closer color to the interior. Because I thought my interior was charcoal, since flat black was too dark.

I had to paint a replacement set of kick panels once to match my graphite interior. I started with a few coats of black primer and then lightly sprayed the duplicolor charcoal on top of it. Because one or two heavy coats of the duplicolor charcoal was too light and didn't match, I painted about 3 or 4 light coats of it until I got them to look acceptable. A dark base (primer) color should darken the final appearance...as long as you're spraying light topcoats and don't go overboard. They aren't an exact match, but it isn't noticeable unless you are looking for it.

Look in the lower left corner here and you can see the replacement kicker panels I'm talking about. This is when I just installed them and didn't have a little speaker yet...so don't mind the open space.
