Just get the "real" altezzas if you like that look. IMO, taillight covers suck. They fall off if you don't have them screwed in and they look cheap. Aftermarket taillights would be MUCH better.
>>>EDIT>>
I'm still half asleep, just woke up from a late night... I see those ARE the altezza taillights. Don't get the carbon fiber ones. They look like crap. It's not real carbon fiber, just a cheap immitation look. Get either the black ones or the bright silver. If you have chrome trim on your car (emblems, wheels, ect) go with the chrome ones. More flash is better. As for keeping the stock lights... you can always interchange them. Oh yeah, the amber ones won't work on your car unless you have a 97' & up.
hahaha i had carbon fiber altezzas on my neon, way back in the day, when i was a lost soul , i am found now and i have to say, "would you like rice with that?"

i swear there can't be a singel post of something different in here with out a rice comment.
Altezza lights were different when toyota first put them on the altezza. Since then everyone and their brother has put them on cars. Hell, even the other car companies like mitsubishi, nissan, and mazda are doing it now. Doesn't seem very different to me. I can't wait till people figure out they are ugly and most aren't DOT approved. Then maybe when the honda infront of me steps on his brake pedal I can see his brake lights and won't have to slam on mine when I almost hit him because all I can see is glare off his tin foil lights with illegal bulbs. </rant>
I was just expressing my opinion. If you like them then by all means get them. In the end you are the only one who can decide what you want on your car because there will always be someone who likes it and someone who doesn't.
I think it looks nice, I have a Teal Firebird so I wouldnt put them on my car because of the "Honeycomb tailights" available. However, I think it looks good on a Camaro and you should go for it.

I can't even begin to tell you how many of those things I've lost. It's usually due to taking a hard turn and throwing them off like a dangerous projectile in the process. As for the aftermarket taillights, there are a couple of real nice ones out there, just gotta do some research. I don't care much for the ones that were posted, but I will say that they've become somewhat common. Oh yeah, another problem with aftermarket taillights is that some of them leak and get water inside the lens. It's usually recommended that you seal them around the edges. Good Luck fast3.4. I sent you an email to help you out.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
