...although I actually did like Heartbeat's red.
I've been looking at getting some Z06 replica's for my car but never saw 'em on another black camaro. I like it! I'm not a big chrome person though. I'm getting to old to spend every 3 day outside polishing my wheels to keep 'em all shiny. (No offense to you chrome guys. ;) )1997 Camaro, Y87 Perf. after seeing the picture you say that red owns then you start to bash it and say it stupid? make up your mind. besides, he wanted the concept of red on red so all i did was take a pure red and throw it on his car to cover the black. conceptual design...he wanted a concept to see what it would look like and to see if it even appealed to him.Originally posted by BiH:

no matter what red i choose in photoshop, its gonna look kinda weird because the car was originally black and has so many different tones and colors reflected off of it. red doesn't absorb the same amount of color black does so the reflections and all on the car make i the red look funny. the reflection are not as intense in some places and they are too intense in others. its just the fact that you are tryin to change from a dark color to a lighter color. they just don't have the same properties so the result will look kinda off.
so don't bash the color or the effort just because it isn't perfect....just tryin to help him get the idea.

i hate black wheels on almost nething, and for the chrome thing i just bought chrome zr1 recently and i had eagle alloys on there and let me tell ya when u can just wipe down the chrome with a towel after a week they look brand new, i could NEVER do that with the eagles, and when i want to spend time with polish it doesnt take long, CHROME all the way, btw i cant say i hate black on nething becasue you can pull it off on some stuff but i dont like black and it has too look danggg good imo!!!Comment
