So my left headlight (bulb) finally went out the other night. I'd like to know what all is out there as far as customizing headlights on a bird.

I saw the non-flipup kit a week or so ago and that's definately out of my range, even if I did want it. It's a cool kit and it will make your car unique, but honestly I like my flip ups more.

I'm not going to spend $400 or so on an HID kit since I know before too long I will find the LS1 car I've been dreaming of .

Really I just wanted to know if there's any way to update the look to our lights (I hate the squarish-looking light style).

And another question. What bulbs do you guys think are the brightest? My dad is always bragging about how the lights in his GTO are super bright, I'd like to put it to shame :D

One more question. Anyone know of a site where I can look up the laws for lighting and such?

Upon further searching (I'm not perfect :( ) I have started doing this mod:

      http://www.camarov6.com/ubb/ultimate...c;f=5;t=007503

I have the wagner headlight housing and the bulb is all removed and everything. The existing housing is off of my car and I have a 9006 Silverstar waiting to go into the wagner housing. Only problem is I need to widen the hole a little bit for the light to fit in the rest of the way and I have no idea how to wire it up to the harness for our existing lights.

Can anyone who has done this mod give me a few pointers?

Talk to me on AIM. sn is Darrin0101

Well, when it came to putting the wagner housing with the new 9006 bulb back into the headlamp enclosure, I have concluded that a 9006 will not fit into our car because of the angled plug. I plugged it in and the silverstars are extremely better than our lights though. Will have to try another bulb with a straight plug.

Anyone need a used for 1 min 9006 bulb?

As long as the car has the same bulbs, you can transfer them. I don't remember what part # the bulbs are but if you bought a ls1 firebird, they will fit. You will love HID's tho, check out my website, they will put the GTO's light to shame.
