  • New bumper

Alright, the other week someone hit my camaro while I was at work (it was backed into a parking spot), and it severly messed up the paint on the right front quarter of my bumper, and made a huge rift in the bumper starting from 4 inches above the blinker to a few inches below it. I ordered a primed bumper cover to replace it, I'm mechanically inclined, but I was just wondering how hard it would be to install this myself. thanks guys

hah, EXACT same thing happened to me but I was able to track the guy down and fix it through his insurance. I don't think putting it on would be that bad though, there's only like 4 or 5 screws. The problem is that some of the after market bumpers won't line-up perfectly. Check out my thread. There's a link to pics of my car and there's one where you can see where the bumper waves. It doesn't bother me but it might for some people. Good luck.
