It may not remove the swirl marks but it may reduce them, leaves the sexy glossy look on a dark colored car after you wax it too.

No, it won't reduce them either. As I stated in my previous post, all claying does is remove things on the surface of the paint: swirls are tiny scratches IN the paint. Claying is great for removing everything on the surface, but it won't do anything to reduce swirl marks. This is a common misconception and I wish people would stop making this claim.

BiH: A really good polish job will fix that. The car doesn't need a repaint.

Yaba, the reason why your paint looked so good before and so bad now is because it had fillers on it to hide the swirls. After all the product wore off, BAM, you could see the swirls again. They were always there, you just couldn't see them. If you don't want to bother polishing (which is the permanent fix) then take articacid's suggestion and use NXT, this will hide the swirls to a certain extent, although I've never tried it on a car that heavily swirled. You can also do some research and find other products with filler properties in them (they fill in the tiny scratches and swirls.) There are other things out there that are probably better than the NXT, although it is a great product.
