If water touches bulbs they will not work, right?
    Thanks

    Wrong.

Adding specifics will get you yes/no answer.

If it's your headlights or fog lights, it could cause them to blow up when they get hot enough. I know that oil from your skin does that, so maybe if the water had some oil. Of course it's late and I'm going far too in depth into such a vague question.

Depends, if the bulbs are hot and hit water, they will probably crack. If they get wet while off, and then dry out probably no damage, if they are on while in water, you will probably short out. It all depends on the specifics.

It also depends on manufacturing and how long they have been sitting ont he shelf. Two different stores, same bulb. One store's blew out 3 times, the other's were fine. And APC doesn't like answering emails that complain about their products!

sometimes it depends on the actual barometric air pressure coincided with specific gravity at which the Earth rotates which is also incidental to the the number and frequency of sound waves present at the specific time. That could cause a bulb to blow.
