Drivers Front Quarter Panel

Whats up guys.. so I was looking over my car and I realized that the Drivers front Quarter panel right where it lines up with the side mirror isnt aligned properly. The dealership replaced the mirror (the car is still under warranty) on that side a couple months ago, and I'm guessing that they just didnt attach the quarter panel up near the mirror where its supposed to go. Its only sticking out by an inch or 2. Anyway, I'm going to have to take it in and hope they dont give me a hard time about having to fix it under warranty. I'm guessing its a pretty simple screw off, put it in the right place, screw on type deal. Its just annoying that the dealer didnt stick it on right.

You mean your front fenders. Quarterpanels are on the rear of the car.
Was the car ever in an accident? If so, the frame under the fender may be bent and not allowing it to properly align. If they just replaced the mirror (without any accident), they may just have to line up the mirror again -which is no big deal.
