Just curious, but how much would it be for a paint job??? I would go with Arctic White until I do some more research cuz from what i understand that the color does matter when you are talking about cost.
I think there are different types of paint jobs as well, but I would want one that was done just like the original factory job i guess.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
What\'s her last name? I\'ll look it up.
You know I don\'t recall. Swim, Swammy, Slippy, Slappy, Simmons, Sommons, Swenson, Swanson?
Maybe it\'s on the briefcase.
Oh yeah! It\'s right here, Samsonite! I was way off! I knew it started with an S though!

If you're gonna keep the same color, then a good deal would be in the $2,500 to $3,000 range.
If you want to change the color, then it's gonna get mighty expensive because they have more work to do in the door jambs, underhood, etc.
It will cost anywhere from $200 to $5000.
Shop around. Look at some of the cars they have painted in the past. There are some people that paints cars really good for under $500.
If the color is the same as what you currently have I would say somewhere around $2000 for a good paint job, if it's a color change I would say the paint job will cost somewhere around $4,000 - $5,000.

Considering that materials alone costs 800-1500$, and thats only "good" paint/primer/sealer/clearcoat, not even the best. Thats why 500$ maaco paint jobs are sketchy....you figure 55$ an hour labor, 20 hours prep/paint, 20 hours post paint wetsand/color/buff reassembly.
3000$+ is where you want to be for a "good" job.
\"Since I started working, every single day has been worse than the day before, so that every day you see me is the worst day of my life\"
You can save a bunch of money if you prep the car yourself. My brother let his auto shop at his high school do the prep work (he was in the class too), and he saved over $1,000.

If you are thinking of going with Maaco, get ready to hear alot of "We Told You So" in the near future. I personally know three people that went to them and got ripped BigTime. Rust started showing through the paint after a month on my friends 1978 Malibu. Another one of my frinds has a 1986 Monte SS and went to maaco, his paint bubbled on the hood after two months. Third friend almost went to jail because maaco wouldn't accept responsibility for the runs and chipping of the paint on his 1984 camaro.
Trust those who say, "stay away from maaco!"
i could get any color i want for like 1500, cause im best friends with the owners and they do a great job im so lucky and i get 70% off all labor...
what people don't understand about maaco is that they suck at prepping the car. They aren't concerned with it too much, they want to spray some paint and get the car ready to go. On top of that their paint is so horrible i could do a better job with cans of paint and clear from autozone. Seriously, my shop uses PPG paint omni is on the lower class side and Global is the best. And it will cost around 500-1000 for just descent materials. The cheapest job I saw go at my job was around 3k for a small car that was the same color. If you get a paintjob it's worth it to find a place that has a lifetime warranty. What if you just get something painted on your car? Do they just spray it and it doesn't match, are you stuck with it? Probably. You want the lifetime warranty beleive me. You get some high dollar custom paint job and something chips off because they didn't do a good job sanding. You'll be ****ed. It all boils down to, you get what you pay for. If your gonna repaint your car, repaint it something really nice and custom. Do everything at once. Your gonna be dropping down some serious cash anyway, why not just go all out?
