I was home all last week so I finally took the time to install the disk brakes I got for Christmas. These pictures dont do it justice in my opinion. Its so nice to not have to look at those drums anymore, not to mention it stops a lot harder too :D
Before:
After: (with a nice coat of gloss black paint on them)
If anyone is interested in doing this swap I will soon be doing a writeup on it.
I was going to do the swap, just getting a fresh set of drums and painting before they rust. How do you think red drums and rotors will look against white? currently have white on white and it looked great... for a short period of time. got dirty WAY too quick.

im not really a fan on painted drums myself, unless theyre painted black or maybe aluminum. painted calipers look great however.

thanks, and yeah, i think i may have a few ideas on how to get the rub under control.
looked better polished ... but i guess with thoes wheels it would have taken a lot more polishing farther back on the caliper to make it look decent..

That all depends, if you put the right caliper on the right side and the left caliper on the left side it shouldn't be too hard, if you reverse em it'll take all week, right loochy ;)

looks much better than the drums :D
yeah, i tried to polish them for a while... but then i realized that i would have had to polishe the front ones too to get them all to match up nice. I was also having trouble getting some of that red paint out of the grooves so i just sandblasted them down and painted them black :D
no offense, you did a nice polishing job... i just cant make up my mind sometimes. :D
