So all those white spots on my car are in the paint or clearcoat.... They are from winter driving and I'm guessing bug damage. They are new to me and were not there last summer.. Does anyone have any tips to get them out? It looks like ****. The picture doesn't do how bad it looks justice.. I have tried goo-be-gone and washed it twice. Only thing I have not done is waxed it which I did about 6 times last summer -- which might be why it was never around until now. Any ideas? Thanks.

they look like they might be rock chips to me. if they are you arent going to get them out with anything but a new paint job or some touch up paint. Some people say try a crayon the same color as your car, or other weird tricks like that, but the point is it wont ever look perfect.
If its just stains on the surface try bug remover or vegetable oil.

I have the same thing, if not worst. I hear its rocks and sometimes bugs. All you can do is get a touch up paint job.2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 <br />M6, Magnaflow\'s 14336<br /><a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/v6purplebird\" target=\"_blank\">C6 Pics</a><br /><br />Old car:<br />1996 Firebird A4<br />SLP Cold Air Intake<br />Magnaflow Catback Exhaust<br />Magnaflow Catalytic Converter<br /><br />George Mason University<br />CEIE Major<br />Pi Kappa Alpha<br /><br /><a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/nsolano\" target=\"_blank\">Firebird Pics </a>

Yeah, I almost never took my car on the freeway, but for a couple of months for a job I had to do 21 miles each way on the freeway this winter -- and got stuck behind a couple gravel trains as well as a few salt trucks -- that **** does do some damage. I am happy I sprayed parts under my car with some undercoating to protect it. They are still rust free
Im going to try a couple tricks and hope that its just surface damage.. Maybe a few coats of wax and some time with a claybar will help me out. Otherwise, time to call a touch-up guy, might as well have him touch up my whole car while I am at it.. Maybe I can get a good deal from the guy I used to work with.Mustangs..
