valve covers are NOT plastic. They are alum. and I have been polishing an extra set that I have laying around already. Some guys here have them polished and there are pics floating around
I've polishe dmost of the upper plenum, the areas around the webbing were hard toget to, and if the lower intake isn't done, it just looks crappy. I ended up painting my manifold Poncho Blue & spray of clear cote while it was still wet. The aluminum valve covers were easy, a weekend job, and I didn't even have my bench grinder set up for polishing when I did mine, just sandpaprt, dremel for the initial buff down, and final polishing w/1k & 1.5k grit & then some eagle polishing goop.
Loochy I might of seen you driving on Sunday. Were you on 70 at all? I was in the 3.4 heading east back from Mizzou and saw a white camaro with a body kit and some rims, thought there was a slim chance that it could of been you ?¿?
