OK, got a couple of quotes today, first for the tint $159 for 5%, and a complete detail (glazed, buffed, etc..) plus he said he would do the wheels and engine for $100, should I do them? we will see the outcome of the code i threw today though, it has to do with the tranny, so who knows.

    Re: quotes

I hope its not the dreaded P1807 or whatever one it is for your tranny. That seems average for tint and to me it sounds like a good deal for the detail, but i don't have much, actually any, experience with pricing on that.

        Re: quotes

the quote sounds very average. honestly, id just have them do the buffing, the rest is nothing you couldnt do, but if you dont have the time/energy then by all means.

as for the tranny code, theres a lot on it in the drivetrain forum, have a look for yourself.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
