  • Same Grill different look

I would like to paint the front grill, cause I don't like how cheap looks this material. I would like it have a black metalic look, not to shinny. Do you have any suggestions?

Try some armor-all on it first.

what i would do is sand it smooth, and then paint it. ive seen it done, and it looks really good.

youll need to paint it like any other plastic piece/ground effects on the car. of course if you dont want to go through all the effort or money, you could try your hand at some walmart spray. start by sanding smooth. youll probably want some plastic adhesion promoter which you can find at most auto parts stores. then just prime and paint with the auto paint of your choice.

rattle can it if you must, but if you have the equipment or know of someone who can help you, spray it with a paint gun.

with a paint gun, youll also be able to add some of that flex stuff they use on the gfx. i assume it couldnt hurt to use it, since the part is plastic.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
