Thanks. Ok, question: What are you guys using to preserve and waterproof the top? I went to Pep Boys and didn't find anything specific so I bought Scotchguard. Thing that makes me worry is that it says to test a spot to see if it stains the fabric (wonderful, just what I need). What's everyone using?

well no mater what you are going to get some water in the car they never seal completely sadly... well I always used he same stuff i use on my entire car.. Now around the seals i use a silacone(can't spell) spray and a clean rag to whip it down. That seems to be the best to make the min. leakage.

Really? From what i read before buying mine the camaro convertibles seal extremely well, and for all the rain we've been having in the bay area recently mines as dry as a bone...

On topic, i'd also like to know the answer to this question...

u really dont have to use anything really... mine looks COMLETLEY new and people actually have asked if ive ever replaced it but all i do is wash it with water and dry it with a T-shirt because it doesnt leave any lint or left over fabric on the top like a towel will just try it it works fine
