Hey all I have a question, Today I was waxing my car for the first time this year and noticed that I have nice little scratches on my windshield, driver’s side window and one on my back hatch window. How they got there I have no idea. But they don’t seem like there that deep. I hope anyway. Is there anything that I can get to try to “rub them out”???? If so please let me know there ugly and very annoying.
There is a glass polishing compound that some auto stores carry. It takes forever though to polish the whole windshield. JC Whitney has a kit that I tried once and it worked fairly decent...but again, it took a LONG time to get a few pits out.
thanks for youre reply, but these are not pit's there kinda long scratches. If I were to call a auto glass place do you think they would be able to get them out?
I have the same problem. . The ideot who had my car before me didnt know how to change windshield wipers and theres a nice scratch from the bottom to the top of my windshield. you cant even really feel it but its annoying to look at. Im going to talk to one of my friends who does body work about it and see what he says.
