  • all clear corners the same?

I bought these off ebay, they were really cheap, and after some research online, I'm worried about them looking bad and/or leaking.
Anyone buy similar ones and have any problems?

i was actually just looking at those this morning..i plan on doing clear corners with red LED bulbs..i think im gonna spend the extra dough and get the euro ones..the lens is a lot clearer and the back of the housing is so mirrored im sure they'll come out really bright..which is the way i want them..otherwise i would've gone with those ones..clear but pretty much the same style as stock..im sure they'll be fine..just depends on the look you're going for i guess

supposidly if they DO leak (which seems to be a common occurance) I'm supposed to seal the edges with something and drill a hole in the bottom of the housing. Interesting.
Should have just spent the extra dough to get the good ones

All aftermarket lenses leak... ironically (and luckily) I haven't had a problem with the clears on my Camaro...>>knock on wood>> It's the chance you take. As for my Cavalier, the corners and the aftermarket headlights look like crap because they have moisture inside of them... need to drill a hole to air them out when I get to it.

i'm on my second set. my first set leaked and then mildewed inside. so bought new ones (euro clear w/black housing). so far so good, no leaks, but i'm still going to drill some holes in the bottom when i get to it. i've also heard that w/aftermarket clears that if you leave your drl's on, they'll melt the housing. i can't testify to that b/c the very first thing i did was disable my drl's, but nonetheless, something to consider.

is there a way to disable the drl's without having to solder anything?
