And how many times did you have to redo it? seems like everyone has problems with the 3rd brake lights, but not on the taillights.

I had to redo mine 2x to get it right, the paint cracked a little between color coats, and then quite a bit on the clear. with the clear it actually cracked all the way through back to the taillight surface. Second time through i got it right by going very very slow, and sanding between coats.

yeah, ofcourse im having problems also. did you have any problems with the side markers? i did with one. my problems though isnt so much the chipping, but the paint spotting during application where no matter what, there wont be paint in spots all over.

I didn't have any trouble at all when I did mine. Took it off, cleaned it real good, then put 3-5 coats on in about 10 minute intervals. Then I sanded it just a bit with 2000 grit and used some plastic polish on it.

I did mine and it turned out like ****, i redid it twice and finally got it looking good.
I also nightshaded the rear corners and the front signals and they turned out fine.

when i first did it like a week ago the tails didnt wrinkle but yah the 3rd brake light did. the clear on the tails were uneven with dull spots so i decided to wet sand and redo that. now the freakin tails are wrinkling too grr but only in random small spots. well back to the garage...i try going a bit slower.
