I polished my air box clamps on my '98 bird. I started with 230 grit, 600 grit, 1000 grit, and then 2000 grit. I was happy with the end product, and honestly I couldn't believe I did it myself. I'm proud of it!
I'm sure others have already polished them. I no longer have a digital camera or I would post some pics of it.
What else should I do? I've done those clamps, hood struts, and A/C compressor. I'm still working on some polished interior pieces for my HVAC panel and headlight switch area.
Whats something else under the hood I can polish?
