02 center console swap

I just bought a 02 console out of a SS...im finally gonna get rid of the ugly 96 console...how many other people have done this and what problems if any have u ran into along the way on the install?

Damn, its too bad you've got a camaro I know they;re a bit harder to get to look nice. I swapped the console out of my 96 bird with one from an '02 T/A and its a near perfect match.

i think everything basically "bolts up".

only problem youll run into is now youre going to have a gap between the radio and the console.

its kind of a shame that the 93-96 console is so flimsy. imo the dash is so much better looking than the 97+. thoughi do like the removable paintable trim option.;)
