As for the shift boot, i think i got it from ebay for like 8 bucks. The install was kinda wierd, caues all you do is kinda stuff the extra down, and hope it stays, and once in a while it will come up, but all you need to do is push it back down...I also taped some of it down too (requires you to take the console off)....but i like it better than those sliding things, cause i took those out too, cept for the one that is connected to the indicator thing that shows what gear your in.
That's an AWESOME paint job. Looks so smooth. Do you have any closer pics of the boot?

Don't go through a lot of trouble, but if you're gonna be in there anyway, that'd be cool.

What do the buttons do? Do you think would work with one of these shifters? They are also universal.

Everything looks awesome by the way. May I suggest some custom fit seat covers black and silver. That would really set off the interior.

If you shift into 1st, and look on the other side of the knob, you'll see a metal "staple" for lack of better words. Just pry a flat head under it, and it will slide right out, and then you can lift your shifter right off.

I meant all of his buttons on the console. I wasn't asking about the shifter button...

Do you just pull the staple out of the stock knob to put in a new one? 94 auto.

Yep. Pull the staple out, and then the shifter slides right off.
