Got some blackouts for my tailights on my birthday. What do you guys think? I think it makes it look more aggressive.

I didn't notice that until you said that. I think I might have been holding the camera crooked. It was starting to rain outside when I was taking the picture and I just wanted to take some quick shots.

Thanks Blackmaro. I think its a pretty cheap mod that makes a pretty good change in appearance.

I agree. I know VHT is cheaper, but I would prefer the ability to remove the covers if ever needed. I like how your CAMARO letters are black too.

                          Re: Blackouts

Those look nice. I am not too crazy about appearance mods like this, but I think they are OK because they don't really stand out and yell at you (like an overly flashy ricer wing or big sticker!). I have a black firebird, 97.. I was thinking about getting a set of these too. I think the overall black along with the tint will look nice. But tell me, are these easy to put on? How exactly do they go on -- with velcro or sticker? Thanks.

Update.. I too a look at imperformance.com and I see they are selling the following:

LUND Tail light Blackout 93-02 Firebird (pair) for $59.95
VENTSHADE Tail light Blackout 93-02 Firebird (pair) for $69.95

                          Any recommendations/advice welcome! Thanks.

if you do blackouts right, i think they can look real nice. Its all about having a certain color scheme in mind.

That's a sharp looking Camaro Loochy88, and the blackouts look very good on it.

Guys, if anyone is interested in a set of GTS blackouts for Camaro I just found this guy on eBay with 5 days left in the auction (starting bid $10.50)
