  • Question for loochy88

I saw that you have chrome battery and fuse covers in your pic of your engine bay, just wondering if you made them or if you know where I can get a set. They look nice.

go to autozone and buy some arcylic mirror and make them yourself you can use scissors to cut it. All it is a plastic mirror that bends easy and will look good if you do it right and add some chrome wire loom engine will look good long *** you keep it clean try ebay and type in arcylic mirror

The ones in my pic came from ebay I believe. Borrowed them from a buddy for SuperChevy last year.

i found some on ebay that were just chrome but for the battery and fuse box covers the total was i think 65 bux... way too much for me right now.

just cut these pieces to whatever size you want and thats it you can go to the dollar store and buy some super glue or if you don't want it to be permanent then just buy some mesh stick that you can remove anytime you want if you don't know what im talking about then just look at your fuse box inside your car and whats holding it thats what I use this will look good and get some chrome wire loom engine will look brand new let me know how it comes out

yes get chrome its good that your using arcylic mirror like I suggested cuz its very light and want add any weight to your engine. Go to autozone or oreilly and get it cuz all it is is a mirror replacement thats plastic and very bendable you can cut it with scissors. I came up with this idea trying to buy some mirror replacements for my car cuz mine were old and cracked but I couldn't use them for my sideview mirrors so I used them for this homemade engine dressup but I must admit it looks good. I eventually found some mirror replacements on ebay but please do not use these as a sideview mirror replacement cuz you will kill yourself if you drive on the freeway I actually thought this what loochy used but he polished his pieces of metal but this way is much easier and you can keep it clean easy.
