i was wondering where else they sell them at i can't find there price on the site. i was reading on another fourm that teh HID's went for 1799 but was wondering what the regulars went for
If you want hids the go to f-sane.com. The have a kit where you can replace the stock halogen bulbs with true hid ones. Its 300 bucks and you use the same type of housing. IMO i think those lights look bad anyway. One round light and on rectangle. WTF??? Oh well to each his own. Hope this helps.

It says the kit comes with "all necessary wiring". Do you know if this means something has to be re-wired on the car (as in you need to know about wiring and electronics), or is it some simple plug in piece that any layman can install?

I haven't done it myself but from what I've seen its a plug and play kit. You have to mount the ballasts etc and run power from the battery. Then u just plug the kit into the stock headlight port. Here's some pics of the kit from they're forum. http://www.f-sane.com/fgallery/thumbnails.php?album=69
Also check out this thread and talk to Just Another V6 about it. Hes done the install and from what i read its pretty easy.
You dont rewire anything. All you do is mount two boxes, plug old light plug into new harness and plug new light plugs into box. Hook up ground and positive.
