the 194 side marker LED's that I ordered look light purple when lit. They are supposed to be white. Does anyone else have this problem?

they are a well-known site supposidly.
They don't look "purple" purple.... but definitely have a light purple hue.
I'm going to try to take a picture tonight. My brother said it doesn't look bad...... I'll let you guys decide.

This isn't my car, but I found this online of someone's and that's pretty much the purple hue I'm talking about.
Except the purple hue is only in the outer halves of each lens because I have regular hyper white bulbs for my turn signals.Comment

well, eithre way...
your turn signal/drls must be amber (so if you have clear signals, you need an amber bulb)

in Florida they can be white or amber. I had hyper whites in mine before, but they kept blowing b/c i had crappy clears before and water got in. now i have better clears, but i have silverstar ambers.Originally posted by dorkinsComment

thats white, the white from an led and the white from a fillament bulb are different, i believe the led is more white, you just arent used to it or something, but thats what they are supposed to look likeComment
