Is it really true what they say about the Utra Z hood
I was looking around for hoods and I came across the Ultra Z hood from slp. I don't know if this is true or not, but it said that "The hood is designed to work with your car's original air box and generates up to 15 additional horsepower from your LS1 engine and 10 additional horsepower from your 3800 V6 engine." If its really true what it say. I'll forget the ss hood and I'll go for the Ultra Z hood any day.

it probably gives you 10hp just like a CAI gives you 10 hp... its just letting cold air in right by the original air box, instead of moving the airbox on top of the engine like the ss hood.
