  • W68 Emblem

    I have seen several people with w68 emblems that look kinda like the ws6 ones. But everyone i ask does not respond or remember where they got it, does anyone know where i can buy one of these?

      These are decals. I think I remember somewhere that there badges, you know, real ones that look like the WS6 badges. I think those were on eBay. I think they made the retro Z28 badges also. Hope this helped.

            thanks for the help rt1, i could care less if it says performance package, yes i know its an appearance package im not stupid, but its still a cool unique emblem. Im gonna try and email the guy that runs that site and see if he can get one that says like high output v6 or maybe just appearance package

              No problem. I am sure it's layered vinyl. So the black writing is on top of the chrome at the bottom. It should be an easy change.

                That's Firebatscave. His products are very good - mine is many years old and still looks like new.

                I cut off the Performance Package part.

                If anyone had real chrome badges, I'd buy them in an instant.

                  I got one put on my car about a half year after I took it off the lot in Sept of 01'. Only I didnt have the W68 stock option. I have the Y87 package so I had one made of it. I had badz28 do mine. Here is a link: http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/vinyl/vinyl.htm

                    there is a guy from ls1tech that i talked to that could make aluminum, only problem is he has no way to make the red filler, his are just black and aluminum

                        At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
                        Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
