  • Protecting your rims

Does anybody put any product on there rims to protect them and make it easier for cleaning off brake dust and road grime?

I was considering maybe even waxing my rims just to keep them protected but I ddin't know if it would be good or bad or any difference at all.

Just curious what you guys too to keep them spotless. ESPECIALLY the inside of the rims.

    Re: Protecting your rims

Some people wax their rims, others use a metal polish like Mothers.

I've always clearcoated my rims. It makes them alot easier to clean and brings out dull spots too. The clearcoat out of a spraycan works, but not nearly as good as an air compressor and professional spraygun. I did mine when they were bare (no tires, valve stem, etc).
