  • Rice or no?

I was debating getting a windshield banner that either said CAMARO or maybe a custom one that said CamaroV6.com :D. What's eveyones opinion on windshield banners and yes I know they give +5 hp, that's one of the reasons I want one!@1!!

he, I used to like them, I had two different ones...."Import Killer", got tired of that and for some odd reason I put "Red LIghtning' with two lightning bolts on either side....it was ok, but now I prefer it to look sleeker....but IMO putting "CAMARO" is stupid, most people already know what kind of car it is.

sorry but to be honest with you the only thing dumber than the banner that says camaro, is the one that says red lightning or import killer(considering your car is pretty much stock performance wise). minds well toss some nos stickers on too while your at it.

to put it simple, yes its rice. But, it does look stylish if its just a colored banner with no words, especially white on white. really offsets the ride.

                Re: Rice or no?

i think on most vehicle it looks ricey but on firebirds, camaros, and vettes i think it looks awsome as long as the color isn't crazy and the design is fits the window correctly. go for it, i'm doing the same as soon as the windows get tinted.

I think you should buy some Windshield washer LEDS, and Type R badges, and don't forget your Racing carbon fiber looking seat belt shoulder pads, those will make you destroy a Indy race car at the Indy 500!

                          Re: Rice or no?

I've seen alot of banners that look good. As long as they are done right they don't look ricey or cheesy. Stick with the stock style font and choose a simple color.
Its all a matter of personal preference.

about the only banner i have seen that i actually liked are the SLP Performance banners, they dont look bad but anything else looks like ****, especially if you do a solid matching colored banner..

Anyone notice that we dont have the "bowtie" anywhere on our car?.. i looked and it seems to say camaro alot, but no bowtie, or chevrolet anywhere like most cars.

i think that they try to differentiate the camaro firebird and corvette. like they are special cars for them, also notice these are the only ones that have their own symbols?

the only pontiac emblem on my bird is on the steering wheel.

the vettes don't have any bowties on them, at least they didn't used to.
