well you can't do both. what blldogg did was a mock up of vht niteshading your lights. i guess you COULD cut that **** up, but i wouldn't recommend it on $60 blackouts.... jmo
either leave the backups showing like blldog showed, or black it all out. the red clashes with the scheme. of course, if youre trying to keep it 100% legal its a totally different story.

Yeah, I know. When I said blackouts, I meant nite-shading if I did what blldogg suggested. I should have specified better.
With nite-shading though...what do you guys suggest doing to get the nice shine like with the blackout covers. Wet sanding and polishing? If I wet sanded, I'd probably screw it up. Also, about how many coats of the nite-shade would be good for the taillights?

Yeah, I've already looked at those. They don't say anything about polishing, and the second link just briefly mentions wetsanding. I've read some things about people wetsanding and polishing them and just wanted their opinions and what exactly they did. I don't want to nite-shade my taillights and have them look like crap.
