I am painting the bezels on the interior of my 99. I was also thinking of painting the air bag covers on the steering wheel and passenger side. Wondering if anyone has ever done it and if so how it looked afterwards. Thanks for any info.

I thought about putting a vinyl bird on my passenger air bag cover, but the place that I was going to have it made at said that it might not stick so well and would probably eventually peel off because of surface texture.

As for painting the airbag covers, I wouldn't have an idea on how to take them off. I'm afraid it wouldn't be worth the effort. But if you do it post some pics it might look kind of cool
