  • Q about 18'' wheels

    Basically how would these:

Look on my maro (pic attached), I also wanted to do either black stripes over the fender or the black side stripes as well as a window tent along with the front headlight covers and the rear light blackouts or nightshade. So I could pull off a silver/black color scheme. But any way would these rims work, I know that they'll likely slow me down because of the size (18) but other than that??

Those should look great! I'd tint the windows too. :)

I had a thought of possibly adding black mirrors but I've never seen it done and don't know how it would look. What do you guys thing??

I think those would look BETTER if you painted the aread around the front headlights black. Gotta have black to compliment the black.

Might look nice. I would agree about having the headlight area painted black again, though. Just my opinion conforming to my taste. I've seen jounce-spacers used before for F-Bodies running larger wheels, so there may be an issue with rubbing when the spring is compressed on a large diameter rim. But, that's just something I've seen done but not read about.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
