    Re: dents

Do you have full coverage? Often your insurance will cover your repair then file a lawsuit to recover the remaining balance from the insurance company.

On a side note, small claims court costs only around $70 to file yourself if you don't have full coverage.

      Re: dents

Look up PDR (paintless dent repair) in your area, my dad owns his own company and does that, sometime you can be suprised how good they can do with big dents, if anything they can make it easier for the body shop.

i found a quarter panel in this place in Arizona for $300 plus shipping. is that a good deal for a quarter panel? also, how much do you think itll cost to paint just the quarter panel? i was thinking of going to maaco because im on a college budget. i know that theyre paint doesnt last very long, but its just a quarter or the car getting painted.

          Re: dents

I really think you should investigate small claims court, which was invented for such civil matters as this. They are refusing to pay for all the damage done by their client, which is their legal responsibility. Get a few quotes, especially if you can get the body shop to sign something saying that the dents were likely caused by the accident. Chances are the insurance company will settle out of court and pay for everything. Small claims court judges tend to be very sympathetic to plaintiffs insufficiently compensated for insurance claims.
