  • Engine/Engine bay cleaning

So here's my engine bay as it is now

Pretty clean, but I want it cleaner. I degrease it every now and then then wash it off. Then something armor all the airbox setup.

Anyways, I've heard of some people degreasing the whole engine, then spraying it down, and the whole bay with a pressure washer, is this safe/dangerous?

    Any other tips? thanks.

pfff, the picture makes it look better than it really is, haha

So is the pressure washing idea a good one or bad one?

pressure washer technique? Taylor, be careful man. Cover all electrical parts with plastic bags and the polished pieces with aluminum foil, if you're going to be adding water/liquids to the engine bay.

I've been using degreasers, and used water to spray down the engine bay, there's no harm, I'm just a little scared of pressurized water

if you decide to pressure wash make sure you cover everything electrical, and use the widest spray patten. ive done it a couple of times with no problems, but use cation. be especially careful of any aftermarket electronics.
