so i started sanding down the curb rash on my wheel tonight. its looks 100% better already. gonna finish sanding out the scratches with the 200 grit sp then move on the 1000 then 2000 tomorrow. then i'll polish it up and be done! been taking pics of the process so i'll post those up soon, prolly tomorrow sometime. but so far so good...

its a HUGE improvement already and i still have some sanding to do. its just so time consuming. but it'll be worth it!

still got some more sanding a polishing to do but i'm happy with the results so far. looks great! a vast improvement.

maybe i'm blind but what color were they before you started sanding? looks like they are like gunmetal or somethin? and your just giving them a polished lip?
the wheels are replica bullit wheels (not mustang bullit wheels). color is anthracite silver with a polished lip. the lip got some curb rash on it a few weeks ago so i sanded and polished it out.
and btw...........if they were made for mustangs...i'd need an adapter for them, and since i don't, they don't really qualify as mustang wheels. they may LOOK like mustang wheels...but they AREN'T. no one has complained about how they look on my car plus its really no big deal anyways. don't people put corvette rims on camaros and firebirds??? don't they belong on corvettes? (that would be sarcasm btw) so what if they do! they look great so people get them. doesn't really matter WHAT they resemble or if they came from another model car...they are just wheels and they just add to the overall look of a vehicle (some good some bad lol), regardless of where they come from.
