did you paint your rims black? cause i did the samething to my wheels but didnt leave the outter lip unpainted

yea i painted my wheels black. i just saw your thread, ill post there too incase you dont check back in here. i had mine painted like yours, waited for the paint to cure, then used my dremel and sand paper to polish the lip. honestly, from 8 feet away they look great, but up close they're not perfect. i figure when they start to chip bad i'll strip all the paint off again,polish the lip and then mask off the lip, and then paint it and see if that helps any.1998 bright red camaro ,M5 ,Y87 ,stock<br /><br />Originally posted by Rune:<br />If it smells like a turd and looks like a turd, chances are its probably not a candy bar.Comment

no i still didnt wax them, its spray paint its not gonna shine liek the rest of the car anyway. wax does help them, but its still not impressive. they need to be wet sanded badly, but i just dont care becuase i didnt take my time with them to begin with. when they chip and look like crap ill make them look good, ill strip off all the paint, polish the hell out of the lip, then some how mask the lip off good and then paint it. i just dont know if im going to get tape to stick to polished lip good. if i cant i dont know what im gonna do next time.1998 bright red camaro ,M5 ,Y87 ,stock<br /><br />Originally posted by Rune:<br />If it smells like a turd and looks like a turd, chances are its probably not a candy bar.Comment

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 11:30 PM
