bmr stb red on red car doesnt match ?

got my bmr stb in today and figured red would go best w/ my red car. the red looks too pink. anyone else have this problem ? can anyone post up black, and silver stb's on red f-bodies ? thanx

its a stb, no one will see it unless you pop your hood. who cares if it matches perfect. i have a red one and it doesn't match perfect, but looks good w/ my red car.

ok well i put alot of time and money to underhood appearance and i do care. anyone else ? i am gonna go and get some paint tomo and paint it i think.

yes my bf's red stb i bought him looked like that too and he had red frcs underneath them.. he ended up repainting the frcs silver so it didnt clash that bad...they were two different color reds!! if you wanna change it, you would have to powdercoat it most likely...you cannot paint it, it will not hold up

black or chrome, or you can strip off al the paint then clear coat it.

eh, you guys sure they come in chrome??? They make chome moly, but thats just a stronger version of the bar...but ya, I've got the red bar on my red car, I think it matches perfectly.

i would like chrome but wasnt goin for the hotckits. summer99 thanks i know i am not the only one. you guys think the paint will hold ? i was thinking body color w/ high temp clear.

I guess I was lucky. I just put on my STB and it matched perfectly to my car's red.

just painted it to match. its drying as we speak. color was way off way too pink.
