  • Rear Trunk Firebird Emblem

    Anybody know where you can get the emblem that goes inbetween the lights under the hatch, it reads firebird and has the bird there. Mines fading and i want to redo it, thanks

        Mine started to fade(most Firebirds I see are faded), so I just scrubbed the remaining paint off. Now, I kind of like the all black with no bird or Firebird script.
        A vinyl decal would be the way to go if you wanted redo it. You could even do a different color other than the orginal red.

          I wet sanded mine off with the intention of painting one back on in bright green mettalic so it would match the car, but I liked it all black better.

            Yeah I just removed my old decal and polished the panel up. I thought about putting another up there but the polished black looked sooooo clean.:tup:

              i cant decide what i wanna do for myne i think i might put the bird on there...i was thinking about doing that led mod to some guy on ls1 tech did it u guys ever see it?

                I was actually trying to buy another rear panel (except everyone parting out cars seems to get rear ended) and try the LED thing just for kicks. It looks pretty cool in the pictures.

                  the led thing is like a neon bird i guess right that lightly glows?

                    At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
                    Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
