I have 2 autometer gauges....Both are cobalt and one is an A/F and the other is a voltmeter....I am trying to figure out how to install them?? All i have to do is connect red wire to battery and black to ground correct? On the A/F gauge i connect the violet wire to the signal wire on the 02 sensor...I know all of that but on my Voltmeter gauge it has the white wire for lumination...IF i connect that with the red wire it should power on with the lumination correct? I did that today and i dont get any illumination at all...Can someone help me! Can the illumination go out inside of the voltmeter gauge?

Re: Question about Autometer Gauges
Might try wiring it through the fuse that illuminates your dash lights, that way it will illuminate when you turn your lights on with the rest of your dashRebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...

Re: Question about Autometer Gauges
so what is it then? Has your A/F ever lit up? Or is it just the blinking bars? I was told that the A/F would only blink those bars between rich, stoich and lean....Now my voltmeter the autometer tech people said that it should illuminate.....Mine doesnt so should i send it back in?
