My friend wants to buy an F-body. I'm trying to persuade him into a Camaro. So which one do you think he should buy. He would lik to see what you people think.
was not sure where to put this, so move it if its not in the right place.
The only differance would be looks. In that case, the 98+ Firebird IMHO looks the best (plus a WS6 hood = amazing!). If your friend can't get a V8, the Y87 performance package is well worth it.

I like the smooth look of 98-02 Firebird's, the pop up head lights really look good closed during the day(stealth look) and add a WS6 or WS9 hood to make it look mean. Also the 98-02 Firebird's vents in front of the door panel which adds to that sports car look.
I say camaro. If it was a third gen then i'd say firebird all the way... but theres just something about the 4th gen bird that looks a little gay... ... i think its the back.

its a lot easier to make a camaro look bad. thats always something to keep in mind.
i saw a teal 98+ the other day (hate teal, no offense.) dual 3" tips sticking half a foot out from the edge of the bumper. tribal stickers everywhere. this chevy bowtie border around the bottom of the car. pinstripes. mexican and pr flags. altezzas.
most horrible thing ive ever seen.
camaros are less in your face than birds, but some people want that in your face thing with their camaros and ugh.
black99maros car is a perfect example of a camaro. sleek and stealth.:)
