  • what to do about this horrible paint

    my borther is a lame *** the fuel pump went out a few minths ago so he parked it and its dieing!!!

    i think some gasoline and matches will work best?

    Yeah, but first you should buff it with a sledgehammer methinks. :D

      Poor Jag. What happened to the hood emblem? XJ6? You can try to polish it out, but it may just need a respray. I seriously doubt anything by hand will help it.

        Or possibly run the engine, add a cliff and a brick. Add gasoline is neccesary.

              seriously i think it needs a new paint job. it looks like the paint is coming off and is almost down to the metal. maybe start looking around. for a quick fix you could always get the maaco special

                i think taking the saying "it will buff out" is going way too far. that will not buff out unless me eyes deceive me.

                      haha, nothing can be done to that thing except new paint. if you were to TRY to take a buffer to it.....you would buff right to metal, there would be no buffing paint. the clear coat is gone. i say sell it as is. looks like a money pit to me.
