I have a camaro convertible. Its been wrecked 3 or 4 times, broken into, the owner before me didn't feel it was nesscesary to change the oil (so now I'm dealing with engine problems). But other than that I like my vert'.

I've had it for maybe 2 weeks now. No mods yet, but stb is arriving tomorrow. Whisper lid + K&N filter arriving next week. Then I have to get the sound system installed. There is no way in hell my 15 inch sub is gonna fit in this car (and where can i mount my amps?!). If I have room for the sound system, no room for road trip luggage :mad: .

got flowmasters and intake but ordering blackouts and inserts after i paint it.same color just my dad used to be a preoffesional painter so were going to paint some black stripes on it and put ALOT of clearcoat on it so it looks like your looking through glass at the paint.

Hey Sunnyvale!! Cool! As for your problem with the sound system fitting... I'd suggest taking out the rear seats then buying tonneau covers. That would be awesome :tup: ... although a little costly.

I ended up getting the 15 sub fit in there.
It's in a sealed enclosure with about a foot of air. It is supposed to handle 1100 watts rms, but I am really only putting about 900 watts at the most into it. The amp is Hifonics BX1600 series that advertises that it can produce 1600 watts rms at 1 ohm. I am thinking of just running a front set of components off my Hifonics ZX6000 (150x2 at 4ohm or 300x2 at 2ohm) once I decide on some decent ones. After some deep thought, I ended up mounting both amps onto the sub enclosure and fitting the whole think into the trunk.

There is no cabin gain, but it is loud enough.

Now I just have to stiffen up that suspension.
