yup definately good work. i think most of the slack ur getting is cuz it no longer looks "like a firebird" ne more, but dont sweat it.

plus i think it just feels weird to see import style on a "muscle car", like when u see a SS camaro style hoodscoop on a civic.

for my tastes ur car has too much going on. i hope theres a massive intercooler behind that grill...with airfilter, LOL for those of us who read that thread.

definately love the hood, but the wing reminds me of a lancer EVO or something and the tail lights are interesting but looks like firebird lights merged with a 240 or 180sx or somthing.

I guess I came across as mean on my earlier post. That's been bothering me since I posted it. But, to explain my first reaction, it just doesn't sit right with me when a car is chosen to build upon, yet the original appeal of the car becomes lost. For me, a car's appearance is to be enhanced, not muddied. I wouldn't call this example "rice", but it looks likes it confused as to which car culture it wants to aim for. All the while, losing it's identity.

Not sure that's a good explanation or not. It's not meant to insult a person's vision, either. The last thing I want to do on any board is become one of those members who flame everyone for what they like.

I think you've done some absolutely wonderful work as far as originality goes. From the pictures, the quality looks nice. I wouldnt do it to mine, but i can understand why you went this route. The average person would definitely take a second, and third look at your car as it drove by. It is by no means "rice". It is however, pretty nice.

BTW, everyone: feel free to speak your mind on his work, but keep the comments civil.

normally i would pull the rice card...... but in respect, everything was done nicely... its completely custom, nearly the entire car... nothing is ****ty, nothing is falling off the car, everything looks to fit will..... its not my taste, but its definately a work of art... good job on the car, although it is purple :-) ...... good job.... id love to drive it around town and get all the looks of people.
