Re: anyone have or seen the Jeg's seats in an f-body
its about 2 inches higher id say (if you bolt it to the stock seat bracket)
enough to make me not consider it at all. (any change at all to my seat really annoys me.)
however with aftermarket brackets, im sure it sits lower. only problem is i dont know anywhere to get em other than corbeau and theyre not sold separately.

Re: anyone have or seen the Jeg's seats in an f-body
Two Questions:
Couldn't you just modify the stock brackets to get them back to stock height? Sorry if that was too obvious.
What is the weight diffrence? If I'm going to upgrade anything on my car that is not truly functional it better be saving me some weight.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
Re: anyone have or seen the Jeg's seats in an f-body
Ok, I made some calls and the custom seat brackets that summit sells for the F-body are the same brackets that Corbeau and Procar sell for use with there seats.
The Corbeau's part number is:d1068T for the drivers side. Summit's part number is:SCA-811068 as you can see they even share a portion of the part number.
I'm gonna take a guess that the seat frames are made buy the same manufacture.
As for the summit sport seats I do believe they are made by APC
but I'm not sure. The Pep boys here in Daytona has an old display of APC seats from before they put that gay logo on them. And they look just like them, there even simulated leather.
I wonder if the summit/APC sport seats will bolt to the Corbeau/Procar brackets? If they will they should sit down nice and low in the floor.
I will try to find out more.
