  • hockey stripes or no? EVERYONE INSIDE

ok let me catch some of you up to speed. i got in a wreck back in february, and i got it fixed and now i am deciding whether or not to put the hockey stripes back on my car.. or simply put 3800 decals on the fender. here is a pic of my car as it sits right now without them on:

stripes back on? or just 3800s? leave it simple? or add flavor? i kind of like the way it looks with them off. its more clean and basic. but i liked being the "camaro with hockey stripes". but recently on this board like 3 people have added hockey stripes haha. OPINIONS?

im leaning towards 3800 decals, and putting them where z28s have their badges.

Honestly, I think the 3800 decals look really, REALLY, tacky.

I'd say hockey stripes or nothing.

Tough one. I like it a lot the way it is. Plain. But the stripes looked ok too. Maybe leave it that way for a while til' you get tired of the look. ;)

looks good how it is, id leave it without the stripes, and get 3800 decals, then get a supercharged vinyl graphic to put above it

hmm. i dont like the supercharged idea. im still leaning towards the 3800 on the fender.. but im afraid ill miss the stripes. ive driven the car how it is now for like.. 3 months.

Maybe do something similar, but a little different, than what you had. Play with some ideas on your computer and see what you come up with. Scrounge up some older Camaro appearance packages that required stripes, and see if any of that can be applied to your car. Your car looks clean as hell as is, but I can tell you want a little bit of a subtle flair to it again. I say, add some sort of striping to it because you'll always go to sleep thinking about it until you do. Maybe there's something out there that can be applied to a hockey stripe type idea that is still different enough for you.
